This is an article announcing Lainey Feingold’s new website.  The site has been redesigned to make it easier to find information.  The site was built to work on a computer and on a mobile device.  It was also designed so everyone can use it. The new site has a page where you can read all the topics included on the site.  It also has a new glossary to find out more information about things.  There are also answers to questions about Lainey’s work.  Natalie MacLees of Purple Pen Productions designed the site.  Natalie did a great job and was fun and easy to work with.  Joseph O’Connor introduced Lainey to Natalie.  If you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact Lainey. I am excited and grateful to announce the launch of my new website. Grateful to Natalie MacLees of Purple Pen Productions who built the site. Excited because the new site is designed to work on all types of devices (it’s responsive!) and because the content is better organized and easier to find.

And I’m excited because the new site offers a home for information about my forthcoming book — Structured Negotiation: A Winning Alternative to Lawsuits. The book will be published by the American Bar Association this Fall.

Organization of the updated LFLegal

Here are some features of the new LFLegal that should make it easier to find information on the site

  • In the primary menu there is a link to the Topics Page. The page lists all the topics into which the articles on this website are organized. The list also displays how many articles you will find in each topic. Selecting the Major League Baseball accessibility topic, for example, takes you to a page with excerpts from nine articles about MLB’s commitment to digital access, with links to each full article. Visit the Topics Page.
  • My periodic legal updates about digital accessibility cases, settlements, and government activity are among the most frequently read articles on the site. You can now find them easily from the Legal Update Page on the primary menu.
  • The Frequently Asked Questions Page, the Resources Page and the Glossary have been updated and are in the primary menu under the “More” link.
  • The new Book Page has information about my forthcoming book about Structured Negotiation. The new Speaking Page makes it easy to learn about planned presentations and read feedback from previous speaking engagements.
  • The Settlements Page makes it easy to find all the cases that The Law Office of Lainey Feingold has negotiated in Structured Negotiation.
  • As before, the Contact Page provides phone and email contact information as well as an online form, and the Site Accessibility Page is the Law Office of Lainey Feingold’s accessibility statement.

Shout-out to the site developer and WordPress

This site was built in WordPress using one of the “WordPress accessibility ready themes” known as Toivo. Thank you WordPress community for caring about accessibility and offering website templates that produce content that works for everyone.

I could not have asked for a better web developer than Natalie MacLees of Purple Pen Productions. Natalie knows about access, cares about usability, has a sense of beautiful design, and is super easy to work with. She pays great attention to detail and, like the site she built, is highly responsive.

Natalie even designed my “favicon” – a word I just learned that means the tiny image that appears in the browser tab for a site. My favicon is my initials, LF, in braille.
