Lainey Feingold’s visit to the Disability Studies Program at Ohio State drew a large audience, and we were immediately captivated by her breadth of knowledge, funny anecdotes, and sharp, up-to-the-minute examples from popular culture and national news. I was especially pleased that students who are working at the intersections of digital media studies and disability studies could attend–this workshop was nuanced, practical, informational, and thought-provoking all at the same time.

A few minutes into the workshop, an architect attendee leaned over to me and said, “Her energy rocks!” That sums up our experience working with Lainey: energetic, knowledgeable, proactive, and collaborative.
