Lainey’s energy and advocacy for collaborative negotiation is infectious. She delivered Moritz College of Law’s 2019 Lawrence Lecture on Dispute Resolution to a diverse audience which ranged from novice law student negotiators to seasoned disability rights advocates. Lainey connected the principles of Structured Negotiation to concrete examples – like negotiating with Major League Baseball and large financial institutes – which resonated with all who attended. She shared thoughtful practical skills accessible to all who participated.
