University of Illinois Chicago Digital Accessibility Structured Negotiation

On November 9, 2021 the Illinois disability rights legal organization Equip for Equality (EFE) and the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) announced an agreement to improve digital accessibility for blind employees and students of the university. Discord Digital Accessibiity Settlement Agreement

The agreement is designed to ensure that Discord’s public-facing website and mobile application are available to people with and without disabilities.Discord will use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA as part of its accessibility program.
